After years of canceled Pride celebrations, the LGBTQ+ community is gearing up for a fun and exciting Pride season this summer. Christina Aguilera is already getting the LGBTQ+ community in Los Angeles hyped after announcing that she will be headlining the 2022 LA Pride concert.

Xtina fans are excited about the announcement and can’t wait for the festivities to begin. The singer has long been an icon within the LGBTQ+ community and she just released a new album in Spanish, so it makes sense that she would headline a large Pride concert.

People are also already dropping some serious money for a chance to spend an evening surrounded by other Xtina stans. The concert, happening June 11, is part of the festival hosted by Christopher Street West, a nonprofit that hosted the first permitted Pride parade on June 28, 1970. Over the years, the organization has hosted annual Pride celebrations and worked to help uplift the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy and philanthropy.

The concert has caught the attention of some RuPaul’s Drag Race royalty, like Kylie Sonique Love. Her one-word tweet sums up what most of the LGBTQ+ community in Los Angeles are feeling right now after the announcement.

It isn’t the first time that Xtina has given the queer community something to celebrate. Who can forget her appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10? The singer strutted down the catwalk at the opening of the season playing on an inside joke. Farrah Moan, a contestant on Season 9, referenced Xtina as her inspiration for drag. The looks are so convincing that one publication mistook Farrah Moan for Xtina so, of course, Xtina was on the following season to play up the joke.

Who else is excited for the LA Pride concert featuring Christina Aguilera?
