The success of Shakira’s global hit “BZRP Music Sessions #53” hasn’t slowed down. On Sunday (Jan. 22), the Colombian pop icon seemingly surpassed Bad Bunny on Spotify thanks to her diss track against her ex Gerard Piqué, and she broke another record.

On Jan. 11, Shakira released “BZRP Music Sessions #53” with Argentine producer Bizarrap. The song went viral thanks to Shakira’s savage lyrics against Piqué and his current girlfriend, Clara Chía Marti. While evoking her inner “She Wolf,” she implied that Piqué’s relationship with Marti was a downgrade. Shakira sang about being a Ferrari and Rolex watch that Piqué traded for a Twingo car and Casio watch. The song has continued to gain momentum online.

On Sunday, Shakira climbed to the No. 9 spot among Spotify’s most-streamed artists globally. Bad Bunny moved down to the No. 10 spot, making Shakira the most-streamed Latine artist currently on the platform. Shakira allegedly became the first woman to be the top Latine artist on Spotify with the most monthly listeners. She also set a record for the Latine artist with the most monthly listeners, with 68,879,869 listeners. On Twitter, Shakira highlighted women in her thank you post.

“I feel humbled and grateful though I’m only one among millions of women out there who have so much to say and offer,” she wrote. “Women of all races, ages, and conditions. Thanks for your loyalty and support.”

As of press time, Shakira now surpassed over 70.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify. She moved to the No. 8 spot among Spotify’s most-streamed artists globally. Canadian superstar Drake dropped down to the No. 9 spot.

Last week, Shakira broke the record for the most-viewed new Latine song on YouTube. The music video for “BZRP Music Sessions #53” received 63 million views in its first 24 hours. That shattered a record previously held by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” remix featuring Justin Bieber.
