Colombian superstar Juanes goes on a trip in the colorful music video for “Aurora.” Rapper on-the-rise Crudo Means Raw joins his fellow countryman for the ride.

“Aurora” is the latest single from Juanes’ upcoming album Más Futuro Que Pasado. He brings out his guitar and returns to his pop-rock roots on the track, which also leans into urbano territory. In the music video, which Remezcla is premiering below, Juanes serenades his lover with sweet words as dawn breaks. Meanwhile, Crudo Means Raw reiterates the TLC message with his slick flow. “Aurora” bridges that sexy sound Juanes is known for with the tropical beats of Latin music today. It’s a vibe.

“I have always tried to mix different musical worlds; rock with the music that I love and listen to: the music of Colombia, like cumbia, vallenato and guasca. Over the last five years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with younger producers. It has been interesting to experiment with things like bringing the dembow rhythm into my songs,” Juanes said about his upcoming album in an interview with Billboard. This influence is definitely evident on today’s track.

“But more than trying to do reggaeton, what I can do is bring elements of that music to my songs in an organic way that works. I wanted to mix folklore and rock with some of what we’re hearing today — pop, urban rhythms. The album has a lot of that; it’s a record for dancing and having a good time,” he added.

Whereas the music video for “Bonita” with Sebastián Yatra was bright and dreamy, Juanes’ new clip for “Aurora” is trippy and glitchy. He and Crudo Means Raw indulge in partying with some out-of-this-world locals. As for Juanes’ visuals, those remain captivating and next level.

Juanes’ Más Futuro Que Pasado album is due out on Nov. 22. The multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy winner will be honored as Person of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards on Nov. 14.
