Yet again, Washington, D.C. is home to a classic-to-modern Latin reinterpretation, thanks to LosXL‘s latest production “Borracho de Trap.” LosXL is very much inspired by the kinds of jams one would hear during a wild night at the club, and this one fits those desires to turn up perfectly. The trapchata track blends the Dominican-born genre’s syncopated swing and percussion, as well as EDM’s booming electro and trap’s rat-a-tat 808s. Jersey club bed squeaks pepper the electric steel guitar melody, and by the track’s close, it’s a full-scale panic in the best possible way.
