Last night’s over-the-top #OpeningNight kicked off Super Bowl week, with fans filing into San Jose’s SAP Center (home of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks) to take part in a totally wild media day. The event was sold out, and we get why. Here are some of the most memorable moments amidst the madness:

1

Josh Norman wore a Panther-themed luchador mask.

Josh “El Bandolero” Norman channeled his inner luchador and went “all Nacho Libre on us” for “all his Spanish guys out there.”

2

Our Filiprima stole the show with her dance moves.

Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach – you know, Miss Philippines, the one who Steve Harvey should have crowned champion – stole the show as an event correspondent.

3

Our man gave an inspirational as hell speech.

“Riverboat Ron” Rivera gave multiple shoutouts to the Latino football fam. On being a role model for the community, he said: “I think it’s great. I really do appreciate the fact that I’m a role model and I take that very seriously. I’ve had the opportunity to go back to my hometown and speak at a graduation. The only thing that I try to tell is, don’t let anybody tell you no, you can’t come from Seaside, California and be successful. I’ve been very fortunate. I’ve had a lot of good people help me along the way, starting with the people in those communities. Whatever you want, whatever you dream your dream is, go out and get it. There’s no reason not to.”

4

Mexican pride was strong.

Aficionados mexicanos came out in full force to support the Denver Broncos, too.

5

Cam Newton showed there's more to him than dabbing.

Cam “El Dinosaurio” Newton rapped. Enough said.
