Following the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub – which served as a sanctuary for the queer Latinx community living in and around Orlando – the outpouring of support has come in towering waves. Orlando citizens have lined up for blocks to donate blood. Around $2 million has been raised for the families of the victims. And communities all over have organized numerous vigils to show solidarity for those affected.

It’s a true testament to the power of people, and it sends one loud, clear message: Love always wins. Together, they are standing up to homophobia.
