Your Beginner's Guide to Latin Exhibitors @ The Armory Show

The Armory Show starts tomorrow and goes all weekend, and it’s almost too huge to speak about without babbling, but to sum up: it’s the biggest art event in New York and one of the most important international art market events anywhere. It’s open to the public – though- admission is more money than your average museum admission price – at Piers 92 and 94, and you should probably go. But this wouldn’t be Remezcla if we didn’t give you some tips on how to maximize your Latinidad while you’re there.

First off, Neon Indian is helping MoMA to kick this whole thing off tonight. To clarify:
- This set is not at the Piers, but part of a party at MoMA.
- It is entirely too expensive for any normal human being to afford.
Point 2 is because this all day long party – it started at noon – is intended to be something of a fundraiser and a VIP event. But never fear, if you’re absolutely dying to see Neon Indian perform, you can stream the whole event for $5. Experience the Neon Indian concert, support a cool arts organization, and get ready to hit the Piers tomorrow, all without actually having to put on any pants.
As for the Armory Show itself, here’s a good start if you’re looking for Latin/Hispanic exhibitors. This is by no means meant to be an exhaustive list of every Latin artist at the show, but it’s a good idea of some of the international exhibitors and the artists they’re bringing along. Who are we missing that you can’t wait to see?
