A photo of Christian Nodal lying in a hospital bed is causing concern. And the Mexican superstar had to postpone a concert due to the hospitalization.
Last night (October 2), Nodal’s publicist Conchita Oliva posted the photo of Nodal to her Instagram stories. The “Botella Tras Botella” singer can be seen in a hospital bed with his eyes closed. A woman’s hand is caressing his forehead. It’s presumed to be the hand of his wife Ángela Aguilar.
Oliva also talked with Billboard about Nodal’s hospitalization. When he entered Mexico on Tuesday night (October 1), she said that Nodal suddenly became ill. He then went to a hospital to get his illness treated. Nodal has since remained on rest while awaiting the test results. He also rescheduled a concert for tonight at the Palenque de La Feria in Pachuca to October 14.
“To all the public who purchased tickets for the event tomorrow, October 2, at the Palenque de Pachuca, Hidalgo,” read a message shared by Nodal’s team about the postponed concert. “We inform you that due to health reasons of our artist Christian Nodal, we have the painful necessity to postpone the date of this event, rescheduling for next Monday October 14 where the tickets purchased will have the same validity. As always, we thank you for your support, love and understanding.”
Nodal is currently performing concerts around the world on his Pa’l Cora Tour. He is scheduled to return to the U.S. for his next concerts in Denver, CO on October 4 and Salt Lake City, UT on October 6. There’s no word yet on how long Nodal will remain in the hospital and if these next concerts will be affected by his recovery.
