Sometimes, two things that seem to have nothing in common collide. That came true in Puerto Rico, when Kansas City Running Back Isiah Pacheco swapped shirts with none other than singer Bad Bunny after attending his No Me Quiero Ir De Aqui concert in Puerto Rico.
Pacheco has proudly showcased his Puerto Rican heritage during the last three Super Bowls, two of which he won with the Chiefs.
Pacheco shared a picture of the two on his Instagram, with Bad Bunny holding a Kansas City Chiefs shirt with the number 94 and the name Benito. Meanwhile, Pacheco is seen holding his customary number 10, with his name on the shirt. Both shirts are autographed by both. The KC running back will be back in action soon, as the NFL preseason is set to start in just a couple of weeks.
The running back had previously declared himself a Bad Bunny fan, saying in a press conference, “Shout out Bad Bunny, let’s go papa,” and confirming that he would definitely be listening to the singer’s album pre-game before the Super Bowl. And though the songs didn’t end up the lucky charm Pacheco or his team might have wanted, that didn’t stop him from attending one of Bad Bunny’s concerts in Puerto Rico and supporting the biggest singer from the island.

And about his Puerto Rican roots, Isiah Pacheco said, “It’s important to me. My roots. My family is still in Puerto Rico.” He also added. “Never want to cherish and forget about the little things.”
Surely Bad Bunny is in the pre-game playlist of a lot of big stars, in the NFL and beyond. But it means something extra when the connection comes between two Puerto Ricans. Especially when later they get to meet and celebrate their successes.
