EXCLUSIVE: Kenny Rodriguez from ‘Love Island USA’ is Joining ‘La Casa de Los Famosos’
A member of the hit Season 6 of Love Island USA is stepping into La Casa de Los Famosos. Remezcla is exclusively revealing Kenny Rodríguez as a housemate on the upcoming new season.
Rodriguez, who is a New Yorker of Dominican descent, first rose to prominence on Season 6 of Love Island USA. After coming in third place on the dating reality series with his partner at the time, JaNa Craig, the couple later announced their breakup, which was followed by public controversy and critcism from Craig and several cast members about Rodriguez’s behavior. Now Rodriguez will tap into his Latino roots for the Spanish-language program La Casa de Los Famosos.
La Casa de Los Famosos is a Big Brother-style reality series where celebrities live together in the same house. Week after week, they determine who will be put up for eviction and the viewers ultimately decide who gets the boot. So far, Rodriguez’s confirmed housemates include Caeli, Jailyne Ojeda, Kunno, Laura Zapata, Lupita Jones, and Yina Calderón.
More celebrity housemates will be revealed soon. The winner of the La Casa de Los Famosos will receive a cash prize.
The new season of La Casa de Los Famosos will start airing on Telemundo on Tuesday, February 17 at 7 p.m./6 central. Last year, influencer Carlos “Caramelo” Cruz won the previous season. Over on the Mexican iteration of the series, fitness influencer Aldo de Nigris emerged victorious.
