Elena Romero is a freelance journalist and Assistant Professor in the Advertising & Marketing Communications department at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). She frequently reports on fashion, hip hop and Latinx culture. She is also the author of “Free Stylin’: How Hip Hop Changed the Fashion Industry.”
