Jaelani Turner-Williams is a writer based in Columbus, Ohio, contributing monthly to the city's entertainment guide (614) Magazine. Along with (614), she has also written for the likes of Bust Magazine, Bandcamp Daily, Vinyl Me, Please, Vibe Magazine, AFROPUNK and more. In 2017, she embarked on a trip to Cape Town, South Africa, as 1 of 100 winners of VICE x Airbnb Experiences. While there, she explored the Township Techno scene, with artists Spoek Mathambo and Yolanda Fyrus.
