Rebecca J. Garcia is a Dominicana Americana from the second-most Dominican place ever, Washington Heights, and now lives in the South Bronx. A lover and writer of speculative fiction, Rebecca seeks to write speculative fiction that brings Dominicans and Afro-Latinx characters to the forefront. She is currently working on two young adult novels, a dystopian story set in future South Bronx and a novel about a time-traveling Dominican teen from Washington Heights.
