Karol G Reveals Why She’s Back to Her Natural Hair Color

Karol G appeared on the TODAY show to talk about her upcoming Netflix documentary KAROL G: MAÑANA FUE MUY BONITO [KAROL G: TOMORROW WAS BEAUTIFUL]. Like any good interview, she talked about multiple things including her partner Feid and why she’s back to her natural hair color.
Over the years Karol G has had blue, red, pink, and blonde hair. Now it’s back to its natural brown with some blonde highlights. When asked why she chose to go back to her natural hair color, it all came down to her being super busy.
Karol G said, “I went back to my natural color of my hair because there’s so much going on right now. So much coming right now. And I think I really wanted to be like my most natural and original and authentic and genuine version of myself.”
The topic of Feid also came up during her main TODAY interview and she was beaming while talking about him. “In the career that we do, it’s hard to have someone that understands there’s a lot of time being a part,” she said. “Like what you do. It’s hard. He does the same [thing] and he’s a really good special soul. It’s a blessing to have him and he understands what I do. I understand what he does and it helps. The relationship becomes more healthy I think.”
At the end of 2021, she collaborated with fellow Colombian singer Feid in “Friki” after her breakup with Anuel AA. Both artists hail from Medellín where Feid got to see J Balvin, Maluma, and Karol G go from performing at local parties to world tours.
In the years following “Friki,” Karol G and Feid hinted at their relationship. Karol G dedicated “Tus Gafitas” to Feid from her 2023 album Mañana Será Bonito. Later that year, Feid appeared to respond to her song “Carolina” with his song “Románticos De Lunes.”
The couple finally hard-launched their relationship in March of last year at the Billboard Women In Music Awards. Though they’ve shared a lot of onstage PDA since then, Karol G and Feid largely avoided talking about their romance in interviews.
Karol G ended the interview by calling Feid “babe” and blowing a kiss to him in the camera. In a recent interview with El Gordo y La Flaca, Feid said that he is in love with her “everyday.”
