Adidas & Willy Chavarría Releasing ‘Chavarria Megaride AG’ Collab

Following a buzzy Autumn-Winter 2026 runway show in Paris, Mexican-American designer Willy Chavarría is releasing his latest collaboration with Adidas inspired by the intergalactic.
The Megaride sneaker made its first public appearance at Chavarría’s “Eterno” runway show during Paris Men’s Fashion week in January, where the designer introduced the Adidas sneaker in pink, blue, black, and silver alongside oversized sportswear and tailored streetwear.
The Megaride sneaker offers unique details such as reflective and suede accents, mesh bases, and Megaride’s signature cushioning system; a sculptural sole that provides both comfort and retro elevation.
The new sneaker arrives in two colorways; black and cream, with distinctive features that invites consumers to “walk beyond gravity and express yourself with complete freedom.”
The black colorway features Silver metal mesh, a double Adidas logo on the sock liner, reflective and suede accents on toe and heel, and a reflective “Chavarría” on the tongue. The cream colorway features a cream mesh base with translucent overlays and hints of red on the outsole. Crafted with premium materials, the sneakers offer textures that challenge footwear convention; allowing the sneaker’s architecture to shape a new footwear movement that’s out of this world. The sneakers performance is also put to the test in an Instagram reel where a model wearing the black Megaride sneaker is seen dancing a cumbia rebajada.
The adidas Originals x Willy Chavarría 2026 Megaride will be available globally on January 30, 2026 at 10AM EST on the CONFIRMED App, adidas.com, and at select retailers.
