In celebration of the release of Bad Bunny’s latest album, Un Verano Sin Ti, Puerto Rico-based tattoo artist Juan Salgado invited people to get a free tattoo at his shop in San Juan.

It had to be a specific tattoo, however. On Saturday (May 7), more than 150 Bad Bunny fans showed up to Salgado’s Color Conspiracy Tattoo Gallery to get their tattoo of the unhappy little heart (corazóncito) character found on the cover of Un Verano Sin Ti.

The corazóncito is red and has one eye, two arms, two legs, and a big frown.

Before the gallery’s tattoo artists devoted their entire day to inking people for free, Salgado, who is the co-founder of Color Conspiracy, texted Bad Bunny to congratulate him on the new album and to see what he thought about his tattoo free-for-all.

“[Cab—n], I have an idea,” Salgado texts him. “What do you think if tomorrow, Saturday, we tattoo your heart on the people who come to my shop for free?” Bad Bunny immediately left Salgado a voice message telling him that he liked the idea.

When they made the announcement online, fans started lining up the day before, so they could be the first to get the tattoo. Karla Grilli arrived at the gallery and got a corazóncito on her ankle.

“Bryan” (@LaConcienciaNFT) also showed off his tattoo on his torso and thanked Color Conspiracy artist Joey Rodriguez for giving him the free tattoo.

“This day has been an extremely magical one as we celebrate [Un Verano Sin Ti] with our beloved [Bad Bunny], [Juan Salgado] and the family of [ColorConspiracy],” he tweeted.
