A new colorway for Bad Bunny and Adidas Ballerina sneakers are on their way, this time capturing the spirit of Puerto Rico.

The low-profile sneaker dubbed the Flamboyan Vivid Red arrives in a bold, red colorway, a detail that references the local Flamboyan tree in Puerto Rico, with its bright red blooms that decorate the Caribbean landscape. The bright red is balanced with a secondary red suede that wraps around the shoe, curving around a gummy sole that hugs the foot’s natural shape. The signature Adidas stripes appear in white leather, and an embroidered “Benito” along the side of the stripes.

This isn’t the first time that Bad Bunny comes out with a ballerina silhouette sneaker. A black and white version of the Pointe-toe silhouette was released last Spring, and retailed for $120.

The Flamboyan ballerina sneaker has also made a public appearance recently, during  the DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS artist’s 30-night Coliseo residence.

While the sneaker is confirmed to make reference to the iconic Puerto Rican tree, the colorway coincidentally aligns with the superbowl stadium’s hometown team, the 49’ers. It also speaks to Bad Bunny’s commitment to the island as the tree also appeared on stage during his residency and it made an appearance in the official Super Bowl LX trailer for his halftime show.

The Bad Bunny X Adidas Ballerina Flamboyan sneaker is slated for release in May 2026, and will retail for $120 online at Adidas.com and in select retail stores.
