This Austin Restaurant Started a “Bidi Bidi Brunch Brunch” And We’re Very Here For It

It’s hard to improve brunch. With its bottomless mimosas and mix of breakfast and lunch items, brunch is already a silver lining after a long work week. And yet, the folks over at El Chile Group managed to make it better. For the next few months, El Chile Group – which manages restaurants throughout Austin – will host a Selena-themed brunch, aptly named Bidi Bidi Brunch Brunch.

Bryan Gonzales, marketing director at El Chile Group, says the brunches are a celebration of Selena, according to the Texas Standard. On Sunday, people showed up to taco shop El Chilito to take part in the brunch, some even came in costume.

The Facebook event page says attendees can expect $1 mimosas, $2 beers, $3 brunch tacos, among other offerings. But the brunch/celebration will also have a taco-themed photo booth, artists selling their work, and Selena music blaring from the speakers.
