Pop icon Britney Spears lets loose listening to another Latine artist, this time during a dance video she posted on Instagram late Monday (January 31).
Last month, Spears modeled a new bathing suit while playing Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez’s song “Dákiti” in the video. This time, her song of choice during her routine was another chart-topper, Selena Gomez’s 2017 track “Bad Liar.”
“Me and the song Bad Liar,” Spears wrote. “How appropriate is that???” She also included a mix of emojis, mostly eye-rolling faces and roses.
In the video, Spears is inside what looks to be an empty dance studio with hardwood floors. She is wearing black shorts and a lightly patterned but mostly white sports bra. Her hair is in a long ponytail. During some of her dance routine, she is wearing grey sneakers and black socks. In other parts, she is barefoot.
If anyone can say anything about the dance videos Spears posts on Instagram, it’s that the pop princess looks like she’s having tons of fun and is fully engaged in the moment. At times, she also works out choreography based on the song’s lyrics. For example, with “Bad Liar,” during the section where Gomez sings about how she’s “tryna make it disappear,” Spears glides out of the frame of the camera for a second.
Of course, any time Spears plays an artist’s song, fans automatically want to see a collab between them. Honestly, a Britney Spears/Selena Gomez duet sounds like a great idea. Spears tagged Gomez in the post. So, let’s hope Gomez slides into her DMs soon.
