When Cardi B isn’t taking on Republican “idiots,” she stays busy by continuously taking over the charts and creating new ventures. This year alone we’ve seen the Bronx native launch a reality show, a Reebok collaboration, a doll, and many other business ventures. Soon, it seems, we might be able to add cosmetics to the list of companies she owns.

According to TMZ, her company, Washpoppin Inc., just filed legal documents to trademark the rights to the phrase “Bardi Beauty.”

The documents were signed with Cardi B’s real legal name, Belcalis Almanzar, so the documents appear to be authentic. Though the “WAP” rapper has yet to announce anything, the documents note that the trademark would include: cosmetics, fragrances, haircare, skincare, nail polish, nail enamel, and more. Now it’s becoming a little clearer why, a couple of months ago, Cardi B, seemingly out of the blue, started asking her followers for beauty recommendations and advice.

The Grammy winner has already announced an upcoming haircare line, so this could just be an extension of the same brand. Regardless, she knows how to keep her fans in stock of the only thing they truly want–more Cardi.

The mom of one has been outspoken about her need to create during the pandemic. Notably, “WAP” may never have happened if it wasn’t for quarantine.

With a toddler aged child, a non-stop stream of hits, TV shows, movies, makeup, fashion and more, the Boricua star shows no signs of slowing down….and her artistry knows no bounds.
