We know some of you are graphic designers. You probably freelance to support your real dream of being a famous photographer. We get it. We really do. We want to help.

The Chicago Latino Film Festival’s yearly call for poster design submissions has its deadline this coming Monday. All entries will be on display at the Poster Unveiling reception. Submissions must be in hard copy, 8.5″ x 11, and must incorporate “28th Chicago Latino Film Festival” and “April 13-26, 2012.” Easily marketable and translatable to a whole bunch of mediums. Mail to:

International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago
CLFF Poster Submission
676 North LaSalle St, Suite 520
Chicago, IL 60654

Winner gets $1000. Losers get their entries back. (That is, if they include a self addressed stamp envelope. Mail ain’t cheap these days, if you haven’t heard.) Again, the deadline is Monday, January 9th, so you better get cracking if you want your shot at graphic design immortality. Imagine  seeing your work on bus shelters and billboards and websites (oh my!). Want to double, triple, quadruple your chances? There’s no limit to how many designs you can enter!

Worst comes to worse, your work still gets exhibited at a gala. There’s really no losing, here.
