Once again we must preface this by saying, no offense to Chris Evans, who is undoubtedly sexy. In fact, he is so much the ideal of sexy that we are honestly surprised to see him named People’s Sexiest Man Alive of 2022 – are you telling us no one noticed Chris Evans was sexy until 2022? Have they not watched Captain America? We have so many questions.
All of that being said, though, we must once again humbly ask the question: have the minds behind People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue seen Oscar Isaac? Because yes, Evans is a popular choice. But the internet absolutely loses it every time Isaac appears in a movie, TV show, or even a red carpet. Hell, every time he walks out of his house, it seems like. And that’s not just sexy, it’s transcendentally sexy. Which is what we want, right?
For many, sexy is breaking the internet with a training video. A new movie. A beard. A red carpet appearance. A skirt. A comment about his sweet girlfriend, Pedro Pascal. And that’s the kind of sexy people want to see recognized. Just look to the internet, with many seemingly freaking out — yet again — over the fact that Isaac wasn’t selected. One person also asked: Where are the Latinos in general?
So yes, we’re humbly here asking when? When will it be Oscar Isaac’s turn? Because in many of our hearts, he is already the sexiest man alive. And honestly, after the last two years, as the internet says …who else can follow?
