Not to diss Paul Rudd, who was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2021. He is both incredibly sexy and incredibly funny, the perfect combination. Plus, it’s almost like he doesn’t age, so he’s an evergreen contender. Sexy ten years ago, sexy today, sexy in five years. But all that being said, have the minds behind the People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue seen Oscar Isaac?

More importantly, have they seen the internet’s collective reaction to Oscar Isaac doing …anything? And by that, I mean anything. From starring in Dune with that beard that even he knew was doing bad things to us, to The Card Counter, which we basically watched just for him, without forgetting that moment with Jessica Chastain that still defies explanation.

Then there’s that Moon Knight training video from earlier this year, which basically sent us on a spiral that has truthfully not stopped till now, thanks to Oscar being in basically everything this year.

Point is, if there was a year to recognize the voice of the people in our collective thirst for Oscar Isaac, a thirst that has been alive and well since Isaac starred as Poe Dameron in The Force Awakens, it was this one. And, as per the norm when it comes to our feelings for this man, the internet agrees.

And, just in case you need more evidence to convince you of our case, here is some more Oscar Isaac appreciation.

We rest our case.
