Following rumors of Christian Nodal’s love life following his split from Cazzu, he is confirming that he is in a new relationship. On Monday (June 10), he and his new partner Ángela Aguilar opened up about their love for each other and shared photos.
Last month, Nodal and Cazzu revealed that they had broken up less than a year after having a child together. Cazzu gave birth to their daughter Inti in Sept. 2023. Both of their statements on the split appeared to be amicable. “Our love and respect for each other remains strong, especially in our role as parents to our wonderful daughter, Inti,” Nodal wrote in his statement.
After Nodal performed with Mexican-American singer Estevie at a Cinco De Mayo event in Houston, TX, unconfirmed reports that they were dating turned out to be false. During the performance, Nodal and Estevie also hinted at the possibility of an upcoming collaboration.
“As someone who’s worked most of my life in this industry, I feel grateful to be at a point in my career where I’m welcomed with opportunities to collaborate with such talented artists that align in vision and sound to help push Latin music into new heights,” Estevie shared in a statement with Remezcla. “Because of this, my professional relationships are ones that I will always cherish, take seriously, and deeply respect.”
Those rumors were short-lived, as speculations about Nodal dating Pepe Aguilar’s daughter Ángela soon began emerging. They first collaborated together on the song “Dime Cómo Quieres” in 2020 when Aguilar was 17 and Nodal was 21. Now, the couple has confirmed with HOLA! that they are in a relationship. The two stars revealed they maintained a close friendship after working on music together. Nodal and Ángela emphasized that they became an item after his breakup with Cazzu.
“It is not a new relationship; it’s the continuation of a story that life made us pause so we could grow and miss each other,” Ángela told HOLA! “Because when we let go, we returned even closer.”
Nodal and Ángela also shared photos of their time together. In one photo, Nodal has his arm around the now 20-year-old singer as he kisses her on the neck. In another photo, the 25-year-old singer appears to serenade the songstress with his guitar.
