Christian Nodal took to Twitter on Wednesday (May 18) to call out his ex-fiancée, Belinda, after her mother, Belinda Schüll, allegedly made some comments about him on social media.

Schüll applauded someone on Instagram who referred to Nodal as a “naco.” The derogatory term is used to describe someone who is “low class” or has “no taste.”

The random comment made on Instagram read, “Beli is the best. Please don’t go back with Nodal the naco.” Schüll responded in agreement by posting three hand-clapping emojis.

In response, Nodal tweeted a statement, which referenced another comment Schüll wrote about him on Instagram earlier. Schüll wrote: “The world is full of people who want to pick fruit from trees that they never planted or cared for,” seemingly referring to Nodal taking advantage of her daughter.

Nodal’s response: “Twenty years collecting the fruits of his daughter until leaving her with nothing. Leave me alone, I’m healing.”

He also posted screenshots of old text messages that Belinda allegedly sent to him during their time together. The couple started dating in mid-2020, were engaged by May 2021, and officially ended their relationship in February 2022.

The texts reference dental work that Belinda was allegedly asking for Christian Nodal to pay for. From the messages, it seems like the request was asked sometime near the end of their relationship because subsequent texts she sent suggested major problems in their relationship. These texts included, “You have destroyed my whole life” and “It is best that you concentrate on your career, which is the only thing that matters to you.”

Schüll apparently deleted the messages she posted, but not before users captured screenshots of the comments.
