When the zombie apocalypse hits, who do you want by your side? Someone with fight, smarts, strength and determination to take on whatever conflict is ahead of them, someone kind of like Danny Trejo. And soon, you’ll be able to have him on your team.

On Thursday, the actor tweeted that his likeness was going to be used in the 2nd edition of Zombicide.

“Easy to learn and play, perfect for game nights. Make sure you get the Badass Trejo Set so you can play as me,” the Mexican-American actor tweeted.

The collaborative adventure board game, which launched on Kickstarter, became a massive hit when it was released in 2012. Through the game, players become survivors in a zombie-infested town. As they struggle to survive, they have to hunt hungry zombies. The farther along they get, the more infected their town becomes, making the game increasingly difficult and intense.

In the second edition, publisher CoolMiniOrNot said there will be all-new art, different miniatures, updated rules and a faster setup. It also features Trejo’s exclusive set. For an extra $15, users can get miniatures of Trejo as a survivor, walker and a hulking abomination.

“Danny Trejo is a survivor through and through. In a fight, he’s an unstoppable force, and he’s particularly adept at wielding bladed weapons. At the blue level, he has the unique ‘Danny Trejo’ skill (coincidence? I don’t think so…) which grants him escalating extra dice when attacking with a Machete,” reads a Kickstarter description for the new board game.

In addition to being part of the game, Trejo, who has lent his voice to video games like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories and Fallout: New Vegas, also narrated and appeared in the video campaign for Zombicide’s second edition.

Currently, the Kickstarter has raised more than $1,500,000, a lot more than its $250,000 goal.

Zombicide: 2nd Edition is slated for a November 2020 release.
