Fuerza Regida Is Helping People Affected by the Los Angeles Wildfires

Fuerza Regida are offering support to people that are evacuating the Los Angeles wildfires. On January 11, the Mexican-American group announced that they are renting out a hotel to shelter those affected by the fires.
Fuerza Regida are California natives from the city of San Bernardino. In one Instagram post, the música mexicana group offered their prayers to the people of L.A. “To everyone impacted by these wildfires, we are Los Angeles. We will rebuild Los Angeles. We are grateful for the firefighters and the first responders.”
In a follow-up post on Instagram, Fuerza Regida announced how they will support the people who have evacuated or may have lost their homes in the fires. Since January 11, the band have rented out a hotel for the next six days. Another música mexicana star who is supporting the L.A. wildfire relief efforts is Peso Pluma. The Guadalajara native now also lives in Orange County, California. In a video, Peso Pluma opened up about his connection to L.A. while wearing a mask because of the reduced air quality from the fires.
“Here I am in California, which is my second home, very sad and sorry about what has been happening here in Los Angeles these past few days,” he said in Spanish.
Peso Pluma then expressed his support for the L.A. firefighters and all the emergency personnel. He also revealed that he donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation at supportlafd.org. “We have to be united,” he said. “The hearts of Double P and Mexico are with Los Angeles, California. We have to support each other.”
Last week, Mexican rock group Maná announced that they donated to the L.A. firefighters, World Central Kitchen, and the Pasadena Community Job Center.
