Itatí Cantoral Is Hilariously Twitter Trolled After Misguided Good Samaritan Attempt

Itatí Cantoral, the Mexican actress who will perennially be known for her Maria la del Barrio character Soraya (and her vicious takedown of la maldita Lisiada), got hilariously clowned today after TV Notas reported that Soraya took 30 orphans to see a play.

Sweet gesture right? Except that she took them to see Anita la huerfanita and according to reports most of the orphans are blind. 

Naturally, Twitter had hella jokes.

But while the internet was laying it on thick, it looks like a woman who actually works at the orphanage took TV Notas to task for their headline, and reminded people that the orphanage is always looking for clothes.
