June Tarot Reading For The Zodiac Signs — Expect Karmic Tests & Self-Care Rituals

June Tarot Card reading collage

Art by Stephany Torres for Remezcla

You don’t need to be a total tarot reading expert to get advice straight from the universe. Remezcla’s got you covered. And who am I? I’m Sofía, an intuitive tarot reader, writer, and fellow astrology enthusiast, with four years of experience. Every month, I will shuffle my deck and ask “what do these signs need to know about the upcoming month?” I pick three cards for each Zodiac element, break down what each of them mean, and explain how they connect to you .

Every Zodiac sign has a corresponding element that groups them together: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius are air signs; Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are fire signs; Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are earth signs; and Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are water signs.

So, read the message that corresponds to your sun sign — the one that falls on your birthday. Or if you’re a super astrology fan, read the messages that correspond to your Big Three (sun, moon, and rising signs). For example, I’m an Aquarius sun, Aries moon, and Taurus rising. To find out your own Big Three, input your birth information here to create your birth chart.

Keep on reading to see what the cards have to say about the month ahead. Good luck!

Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

Nine of Wands

Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius got Ten of Cups reversed, Nine of Wands, and Five of Swords reversed. Ten of Cups reversed is disconnection, misaligned values, and struggling relationships. Nine of Wands is resilience, courage, persistence, test of faith, and boundaries. And finally, Five of Swords reversed is reconciliation, making amends, past resentment.

For the month of June, dear air signs, you might struggle in your relationships — whether that’s romantic, platonic, familial, or all three. Now is the time to ask yourself if a certain relationship or two are worth maintaining. This won’t be an easy answer, and the universe isn’t asking you to just let go and not think about it. You’re meant to sit down, self-reflect, journal, go to therapy, and then have a conversation with this person. Ask yourself what your non-negotiables are and what you’re willing to compromise on. Your test is to listen to your intuition.

Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

The Fool

Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius got Six of Cups, King of Wands reversed, and The Fool. Six of Cups is revisiting the past, childhood memories, innocence, and joy. King of Wands reversed represents impulsiveness, haste, ruthless, and high expectations. And finally, The Fool is beginnings, innocence, spontaneity, and a free spirit.

Dear fire signs, this month is all about taking on the opportunities that are coming your way. Jump headfirst into it with excitement, not with pride. What’s the difference? If your inner-child is jumping for joy, then it’s a yes. If you’re not excited and you don’t really want to do it, but it would be good for your resume… then, let it go. Follow the path of ease, confidence, and flow. Do what comes naturally to you and fills you with a childlike wonder. You used to know what that was, and maybe adulthood has made you forget. You’ll have to explore and rediscover it — and it’s that so exciting?

Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

Queen of Penctacles

Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn got Queen of Pentacles, The Wheel of Fortune reversed, and Five of Wands. The Queen of Pentacles represents nurturing, practical, and providing financially. The Wheel of Fortune reversed is bad luck, resistance to change and breaking cycles. And finally, Five of Wands is conflict, disagreements, competition, and tension.

For earth signs, this month’s key word is confidence. There will be various tests to see if you can own your talents and your shine despite possible competition and obstacles. Will you feel good about yourself if you aren’t being showered in compliments? Will you continue to let your self-esteem depend on external validation? Or will you break the cycle and be confident because you know you’re good, and there’s no need for anyone else to tell you? This will be about your career, specifically, with maybe a new job or promotion.

Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

Six of Coins

Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces got Six of Pentacles, Queen of Cups reversed, and Ace of Wands. The Six of Pentacles is giving, receiving, sharing wealth, and generosity. Queen of Cups reversed represents inner feelings, self-care, self-love, and codependency. And finally, Ace of Wands is inspiration, new opportunities, growth, and potential.

You’re so used to giving, dear water signs, and this month, you’ll have to get comfortable receiving. June will be all about you — nurturing, caring, feeding, and loving yourself. When was the last time you let the people around you treat you to a date? When was the last time you spent a whole day by yourself doing things you love to do? Think creatively too! It might be tempting to just stay in bed or watch TV, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Start an art project. Have a craft night with friends. Go to a new museum. Attend a pottery class. The world is literally yours, so do something that fulfills you.

Make sure to come back on July 1st for next month’s tarot reading here at Remezcla.
