Karol G’s electric blue hair will be a thing of the past once her $tripe Love Tour 2022 ends in late October.
The “PROVENZA” singer confirmed that she will change her iconic hair color to another shade once her next tour is over.
“I want to change it,” Karol G said in an interview with Young Hollywood. “I’m ready to change it, but I’m still on tour. I think people from different places want to see the blue-era Karol G. I think I’m going to finish the tour, and I’m going to change it. I’m ready.”
Although she’s ready to say goodbye to the blue, Karol G admits that she doesn’t yet know what the next color of her hair will be. She’s been trying on different wigs to get an idea of what looks good and is even thinking about sticking to her natural hair color. At this point, however, she hasn’t made a final decision.
Here’s an idea: Let your fans vote online for your next hair color. It’ll be like that time in the 1990s when M&Ms let the public pick a new color of candy to go in the bag, which is why we now have blue M&Ms.
Whatever color Karol G chooses, it’s going to be hard to let go of the blue color. It’s become such an important part of her brand. Countless numbers of women show up to her concerts rocking the same shade as her. Karol G has not only inspired her fans to change their hair, she’s also inspired her celebrity friends and co-stars like Sofia Vergara to do the same.
“It’s a very hard decision,” Karol G said. “Now, I think my blue hair is part of the brand, so I’m kind of sad and scared.”
