Camilo Ontiveros: In the Ring, Museum of Latin American Art
You know those nights when the guys get together, crack open some Tecates and watch men punch at each other ‘til someone gets a KO? Well that’s exactly what interested artist Camilo Ontiveros for his newest show “In the Ring.” Through works that include a full-blown boxing ring installation, the artist explores Mexican and Filipino culture and how they meet in the world of boxing. Head to MOLAA Thursday, October 11 for the opening and a tour with the artist starting at 7 p.m.
