Miami fashion will soon benefit from two New York snowbirds, Alex Pabon and Chelsea Conklin. Pabon, who founded and managers The Market NYC in NoHo—an indoor flea market (it’s inside a school gym) brimming with emerging designers selling unique handmade clothing and jewelery as well as vintage pieces—teamed up with Conklin, who has her hands in everything from styling to designing, to open Launch Arte. Set to launch in the Design District November 6, the indoor retail space proposes to give shoppers a Brooklyn Flea experience and promises a multitude of emerging designers selling handmade and vintage art, jewelery, clothing and other unique items.
