It’s only been 24 hours since we touched down in Corpus for Fiesta de la Flor, and we’ve already been overwhelmed by the Selena posvibes everywhere (even the wifi password at our hotel is “Selena1”). There’s a family energy here that makes even the strangers feel familiar – as though we’re all tapped in to the same collective consciousness of celebration and remembrance.
For the next three days, we’ll be in Corpitos drinking it all in, talking to fans and artists, catching performances at the festival, and visiting the spots where Selena hung out and honed her sound.
