Saturday Night Live (SNL) is the place for comedy, music, and current events. It is also the place for sudden fashion statements and questionable style choices by some of the biggest names in entertainment. Rosalía is the latest celebrity to don some bizarre apparel, according to some viewers.

During her first song of “Chicken Teriyaki,” Rosalía came out dressed in a red lace dress and thick leather jacket, very much on-brand for her persona. Then for her second song, the singer took to the SNL stage with a very different outfit that has people talking.

Rather than staying with her classic looks, the singer shocked fans wearing a big comforter as she sang “La Fama.” The comforter is in fact a Marc Jacobs jacket inspired by the comfort of those big comforters we wrap ourselves in when we are cold.

Almost instantly, this outfit had people talking. Some questioned why she was wearing a comforter with…a no slip bathmat on her head.

While others were just here for the whole mood that was this comforter outfit.

And others were in agreement that Rosalía considering the weather in NYC.

But the most hilarious take was what some thought about the shadow that stood behind Rosalía’s figure.

Her performance gave fans a chance to see her showcase her newest music from her next album MOTOMAMI. The singles released ahead of the album release are promising a new and exciting venture in her musical career.
