Power couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes show their support for one another in many different but heartwarming ways. Recently, Gosling attended press interviews for his new film, The Fall Guy, wearing a t-shirt promoting Mendes’ new children’s book, Desi, Mami, and the Never-ending Worries.

During one of his interviews with Extra, he wore the shirt and said that “it’s a wonderful book” and that “it’s also in Spanish. I highly recommend it.” He also went on to say during The Fall Guy premiere on April 30 that, “We read a lot of kids’ books and it’s one of the best I have read.”

You can bet that Mendes appreciated it very much. “Feeling the love from my Cuban Papi!” Mendes wrote on social media alongside a photo of Gosling wearing the shirt. “And loving that beautiful Mami – Emily Blunt – so mucho! Love all around!”

Other Latine stars commented on Mendes’ post and also gave Gosling major props on his shout out to Mendes. They included actors Mario Lopez and Constance Marie and broadcaster Maria Elena Salinas.

Desi, Mami, and the Never-ending Worries is set to debut on September 17, 2024, in both English and Spanish. It tells the story of a young girl who is scared of the monsters under her bed. Mendes said the book is “a love letter” to her two daughters, Esmeralda and Amada, who she shares with Gosling.

“Learning how to train our brain to work for us and not against us is easier said than done!” Mendes said in a statement. “At my home and in Desi’s, we try to deal with the never-ending worries and anxieties that we all have, so those negative thoughts don’t take over and dominate.”

In the past, Mendes has shown her support for Gosling’s work as an actor, including sharing posts about his Oscar-nominated role as Ken in Barbie.

Also, she shared clips from his recent appearance on Saturday Night Live.

If what Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have isn’t love, we don’t know what is.
