Following the success of Rare and the recent video release of “Boyfriend,” Selena Gomez—like yourself—is social distancing at home. The actress and singer has found new outlets of joy (or simply escapes from boredom). That has led to what our parents called “hobbies.” Heard of them?

In Gomez’s case, that is *checks notes* cooking. Highly unique, and definitely not something everyone with a kitchen at home is doing. The difference is—the 27-year-old has made this hobby lucrative. Inspiring, honestly.

Gomez scored a deal with HBO Max, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The upcoming show will consist of 10 episodes. Each segment will pair the artist with a master chef who will virtually direct and teach her. The goal is to engage with viewers at home, too.

It’s meant to tackle a struggle we are all going through, which—according to HBO Max’s head of original content Sarah Aubrey—is “how to make cooking at home exciting, fun and delicious” and not “which supermarket on earth still has yeast?” as I believed it was.

This passion for cooking is, reportedly, not a new undertaking for Gomez.

“I think I’ve been asked hundreds of times in interviews if I had another career, what would I do and I’ve answered that it would be fun to be a chef,” Gomez told THR.

HBO Max is a new WarnerMedia owned platform that will launch May 27. Selena Gomez’s quarantine cooking show’s name and exact launch date are yet to be released.

In the meantime, if anyone has extra yeast hanging around—you know who to call.
