You don’t need to be a total tarot reading expert to get advice straight from the universe. Starting this month, Remezcla’s got you covered. And who am I? I’m Sofía,  an intuitive tarot reader, writer, and fellow astrology enthusiast, with three years of experience. Every month, I will shuffle my deck and ask “what do these signs need to know about the upcoming month?” I pick three cards for each Zodiac element, break down what each of them mean, and explain how they connect to you

Every Zodiac sign has a corresponding element that groups them together: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius are air signs; Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are fire signs; Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are earth signs; and Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are water signs.

So, read the message that corresponds to your sun sign — the one that falls on your birthday. Or if you’re a super astrology fan, read the messages that correspond to your Big Three (sun, moon, and rising signs). For example, I’m an Aquarius sun, Aries moon, and Taurus rising. To find out your own Big Three, input your birth information here to create your birth chart.

Keep on reading to see what the cards have to say about the month ahead. Good luck!

Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius got Eight of Pentacles, Page of Cups, and Four of Cups reversed. Eight of Pentacles is work, repetitive tasks, mastery, and skill development. Page of Cups represents a child-like and playful emotional energy (whether yourself or someone else). The card also represents creative opportunities, intuitive messages, curiosity, and possibility. And finally, Four of Cups reversed is retreat, withdrawal, and checking in for alignment.

It’s time to take what you’ve learned from the Mercury in Retrograde period (and the pause and reflection it forced onto us) of the previous month to good use, air signs. That means looking up from the small everyday frustrations and delays to see the big picture. September will be filled with opportunity, although it might not look that way at first glance. They might look small, but you have the power to make them grand. You just have to stand up and take the chance. Work doesn’t have to be tedious or boring. Bring the whimsy and creativity you’re so known for to the office (or your WFH gig).

Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius got Two of Pentacles, Six of Cups reversed, and Nine of Wands. Two of Pentacles represents multiple priorities, time management, prioritization, and adaptability. Six of Cups reversed is living in the past, forgiveness, and lacking playfulness. And finally, Nine of Wands is resilience, courage, persistence, test of faith, and boundaries.

You’ll be juggling a lot this month, fire signs. In the stress of it all, your instinct is to either be defensive and put up iron-clad walls or look back to your past with deep nostalgia. You can’t snap at the people around you, just because you don’t know how to manage your stress levels. That’s your job, fire signs, not theirs. Look into the mirror, and realize your responsibility in all of this. Your goal this month is balance. It might be hard to achieve, but you’re no quitter.

Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn got Justice, Four of Pentacles reversed, and Wheel of Fortune. Justice represents fairness and truth. Four of Pentacles reversed is self-protection and a need to let go. And finally, Wheel of Fortune is good luck, karma, life cycles, destiny, and a turning point.

Expect lots of changes for the month of September, earth signs — specifically ones you’ve been especially patient for. We’re talking about long-standing, big changes here. You might even question the timing of them, or feel like you’ve been struck by the lucky girl syndrome. These might be coming later on in the month, though. Earlier in the month, your goal is to be fair with yourself (and others) and to let go of that stubbornness you’re so well-known for. Nothing changes if nothing changes, remember that.

Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces got Seven of Wands, Knight of Swords, and Nine of Swords reversed. Seven of Wands represents challenge, competition, protection, and perseverance. Knight of Swords is action-oriented and fast communications — also represents air signs (Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini). And finally, Nine of Swords reversed is inner turmoil, deep-seated fears, secrets, and releasing worry.

Water signs, you’ve spent long enough wondering, yearning, and overthinking about someone else — it’s time for you to finally do something about it. Believe it or not, you can take a risk without completely free-falling. An opportunity to send that text will come in September, and it’s up to you to decide if you’re ready to be vulnerable and express yourself. Doing the same thing you’ve been doing and not talking to them… it’s clearly not working and it’s only led to sleepless nights. You’ve got this, water signs, we believe in you.

Make sure to come back on October 1st for next month’s tarot reading here at Remezcla.
