Sabrina Carpenter brought out Marcello Hernández as a special guest on her Short N’ Sweet Tour in L.A. last night (November 17). And the Latine comedian didn’t just appear as himself. Instead he appeared as the viral Saturday Night Live character Domingo.

Hernández, who is of Cuban and Dominican descent, recently went viral last month for one of his musical sketches on SNL. He played an eccentric character called Domingo who sings Carpenter’s hit “Espresso.” But instead of singing the song’s actual lyrics, he was joined by Ariana Grande in using the song to imply that the bride hooked up with Domingo to the shock of her husband.

In a stand-up comedy stop after the skit, he was recorded getting the crowd to sing along to Domingo’s version of “Espresso.” And he recently revived Domingo during the most recent episode of SNL for a baby shower episode to Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO!”

Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet Tour had two stops at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif. For the final concert there last night, Hernández appeared as a surprise guest. Hernández was dressed up as Domingo and even sang his character’s version of “Espresso,” which got the crowd going wild. And Carpenter was ready to arrest him in fuzzy handcuffs for being “too hot” during the “Juno” section of her show.

Both Carpenter and Hernández had a back and forth with the latter singing his own version of her songs. By the end of the moment, Carpenter gave Hernández her pink handcuffs while the crowd went wild.

The Carpenter and Hernández crossover during her concert got a lot of their fans excited. Over on X, one person wrote in Spanish, “My God Marcello Hernández at Sabrina’s concert was the hottest thing, what a man.”

Another person wrote, “SABRINA AND MARCELLO WAS EVERYTHING I NEEDED OMG.”

In September, Carpenter went viral on Latine X after being spotted dancing to Rauw Alejandro’s performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. On his new album Cosa Nuestra, the Puerto Rican star appeared to make a nod to her hit with his song “Espresso Martini.” In August, Mexican-American singer Omar Apollo also recorded a live corrido version of Carpenter’s song “Please Please Please.”
