In 2025, Bad Bunny is a household name.
A huge part of that is due to his music. He’s shown how capable he is at moving through genres, experimenting with sounds, and creating experiences when it comes to his concerts. But another part of his fame is how he pushes boundaries when it comes to fashion.
When Bad Bunny steps out on a red carpet, photoshoot, or concert stage, you know he’s going to create something memorable that speaks to the kind of artist he is. And a huge part of that evolution for Bad Bunny has been due in part to stylist Storm Pablo.
Born in Guam, his love for fashion started way before he even realized this was a career path he could take that would end up with him working with the likes of Bad Bunny, Young Miko, or LYKE MIIKE. Fashion has been a lifelong love.
“I was always the friend in the friend group that dressed my friends before we went out in public,” Pablo told Remezcla during an exclusive interview. “It’s [also] something that I kind of got from my mother. She’s super into clothes. And I grew up in retail stores. My mom had me when she was like 16 years old. So she used to take me to work with her at the Gap and Nike. And I kind of grew up in the back of stores or going to the food court and stuff. So a lot of people watching when it came to fashion.”
Then reality hit, as it does all of us as we start getting older. Hanging out at the mall and people watching helped him understand how a look came together, what worked, and what didn’t. But that wasn’t a paying job. That’s when he made the decision to move from Seattle to LA. And he hit the ground running, eventually ending up working at a showroom used by stylists.
“Styling fell in my lap, because my job at the showroom is to schedule stylists in the showroom,” Pablo explained. And while he thought it would be easy, that he grew up loving fashion, so this couldn’t be that hard, he was wrong. “It’s a super hard job. It was like, even to this day, I think it’s funny. Because it’s been six years. There’s seven years now styling and, I think it took me like seven years to even consider myself a professional. And, you know, it was just something that I feel like I learned every day.”
That’s how Storm Pablo got started in fashion. And it was friendship that led him to eventuallly work as Bad Bunny’s stylist. “I had a friend, actually, he’s a partner from my clothing brand Cntra. Adrian Hernandez. He asked me to go to a show. And I had no idea who Bad Bunny was at the time. And long story short, I completely just fell in love with everything he had going on. You can just tell that he was very sure of himself at that time, even then that he was going to be huge. And he was right.”
So Pablo went for it. He wanted to be Bad Bunny’s stylist. And it went better than expected. “Everything went great. We kind of just had a chemistry when it came to style,” he said, before revealing what truly united them. “We both had one thing in common, and it was to push the envelope a little bit. And for me at that time, I felt like I was definitely trying to ruffle some feathers even before him, which actually didn’t work out with a lot of clients.”
But it worked with Bad Bunny. In fact, it worked so well that even when Pablo thought he was pushing the envelope when it came to fashion, Bad Bunny asked him to dream bigger. “The biggest thing that he told me was… every idea that I came to him [with] he kind of just told me that we can do better. We can go bigger. And I learned everything, honestly, from working with that. I worked with people before him. But on a professional level, everything I learned was from him.”
Now in 2025, Pablo has styled Bad Bunny for the 2021 Grammys, multiple photoshoot ranging from Billboard to The NY Times, and even the “EL CLúB” music video. But his favorite look that he’s styled for Bad Bunny came before all of these. For Pablo, it’s the silver look from his 2020 Super Bowl appearance with Shakira and JLo, that is his favorite.
“I always say this one because it’s true. It’s the most impactful for myself. I think it was probably the Super Bowl look,” Pablo said, “I remember everything I learned from him and you know, listening to a persn over time and really getting that chemistry, especially when you both don’t speak the same language. Like I feel in a weird way, that kind of benefited me at the time. Because I really had to pay attention to details. I had to build this from the ground up. […] The outfit for the Super Bowl was everything I learned in one outfit. And I think that really showed. It literally shines.”
With Bad Bunny heading to Super Bowl LX, we had to ask him if he’s already got a plan in mind for the events look. The short answer is: yes. But with it being such a big moment, he’s keeping things close to his chest. What he could share was that he’s oscillating between two emotions when it comes to dressing Bad Bunny for the upcoming Super Bowl: nervousness and excitement. Truly, both valid emotions.
“To be honest with you, I think going into the Super Bowl, obviously, it’s a huge platform. It’s the biggest thing that i feel like you can possibly do. I was nervous last time, and I’m definitely nervous this time,” Pablo shared. The last Super Bowl averaged a record 127.7 million U.S. viewers across television and streaming platforms with an audience peak of 137.7 million in the second quarter according to Nielsen. “I also feel like excited. And I think that those two emotions together, they’re my favorite. That’s when, you know, really good things come about.”
But right now, the Super Bowl isn’t Pablo’s biggest worry. That’s Bad Bunny’s DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS world tour. Alongside stylist and close friend Marvin Douglas Linares, they’ve dressed everyone, from the band members to the dancers on stage with Bad Bunny. That’s why it took a little time to lock down this interview. Because Pablo was putting his best work out there and helping create the iconic experience that is this tour.
For Pablo, production wasn’t something he was necessarily interested in when it came to fashion. But when the tour came around, “It was just like, who’s going to dress it? And I’m just like, “I guess we are.” And they went into styling for the tour thinking they could style/alter the pieces they bought in stores like usual. They quickly realized that wasn’t possible. “We were lke, “Okay, we can’t find 20 of the same size or 30 of the same size. So it turned into us making the outfits. And we must have done a good job because we keep having to do it. But we love it.”
To help capture the process of everything they accomplished during the tour, Pablo partnered with Pinterest. In these custom boards, he created a board all about the tour but also one about the inspirations that help build the Puerto Rico residency in particular. And for him, this was an easy partnership because it already existed in his process.
“I feel like a lot of people kind of gatekeep when it comes to the creative field in general. I feel like that that’s the first thing that I would even teach somebody with that wanted to do styling. Kind of how to put things on paper,” Pablo said, “And I even do my own collages and stuff myself at home. So there’s a lot of things that you can put on paper. And there’s a process to this. And I feel like that’s just the number step is Pinterest.”
So, the next time you see Bad Bunny on stage, stepping out onto a red carpet, or posing for a photoshoot, know that stylist Storm Pablo helped create that vision. But also know that your favorite celebrity or singer, also probably has a stylist that helped turn them into the fashion icon they are today. Hype them up too. They deserve their flowers.
