It’s been over 100 days of La Casa de los Famosos: All Stars, and shockingly, the latest eliminated contestant is the iconic Cuban actress Niurka Marcos. Known for her controversial personality, Marcos was no stranger to the rules of the house, having already competed in Season 2. Still, she entered this All-Star season more explosive and honest than ever before.

Remezcla sat down with Marcos to reflect on the intense past few weeks. And right off the bat, she felt relief at being eliminated.

“Thank God,” Marcos said the moment her name was announced as the 15th All-Star eliminated from the house. When we asked why she was so ready to leave, she replied, “I was at my limit and wanted to leave. I was sick, with my defenses on the floor, and asking God to give me strength to continue.”

If you follow the show daily, you know that what these celebrities endure inside the house is intense; something not everyone is willing to take on. They’re placed in tense situations, with multiple strong personalities, and cut off from the real world. So for Marcos to reach her breaking point and openly acknowledge it was a big deal.

In addition to her weakened immune system, something else that deteriorated was her once tight relationship with Caramelo and Rey Grupero. The three dubbed themselves Los Tres Mosqueteros (The Three Musketeers). Their dynamic? Marcos was the protective mother, while Caramelo and Rey were her baby chicks.

Things changed when Manelyk González, another strong female contestant, entered the picture as Caramelo’s love interest. Marcos began to question their dynamic and started noticing behaviors she didn’t agree with. This led to her decision to give three nomination points to Manelyk. Resulting in Manelyk’s elimination.

We had to dig deeper into her reasoning. Was it jealousy, strategy, or a genuine attempt to protect the team? “I started to notice there was no harmony in ‘The Three Musketeers,’” she explained. “I noticed that what once brought us laughter, emotions, and gratitude was dying.”

When we asked if Manelyk was the cause of that shift, she cut us off and said, “Definitely, without a doubt. She’s like a poisonous plant. She started weaving her way in with nice words and advice.” It’s clear that Marcos felt strongly about Manelyk’s presence. She ended her thought by saying  “She was like an anaconda, slow but crushing.”

When Caramelo and Rey Grupero discovered that she had nominated Manelyk, chaos erupted. But the real betrayal, according to Marcos, came during a movie night during the live show. There, she saw clips of her two so-called team members speaking negatively about her actions. Was she surprised, or had she already sensed something? “I had been noticing some changes in their attitudes. Things that used to work between the Three Musketeers just weren’t happening anymore.”

Now that she’s out of the house, her fans have filled her in on even worse things said behind her back. “Hearing Caramelo call me a rat and say I had a black soul, after kissing my head, thanking me for food, and sharing moments of fear and support as a team. A rat?”

You could tell that although Marcos is strong, she felt deeply betrayed by her former teammates.

After such a rollercoaster of emotions, it’s no wonder singer and dancer Niurka Marcos ended up so sick she even developed inflammation in her thorax that caused pain when coughing. Perhaps it truly was her time to leave the house and focus on her health.

La Casa De Los Famosos: All Stars is in its final chapters and the next elimination is Monday May 26th only on Telemundo.
