Another year of SXSW has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean we’re done nursing our hangovers and forgetting what restful sleep feels like. After a week of breakfast tacos, Lone Star, and hundreds of shows, SXSW proved its massive growth and success yet again. Austin is still reeling from gentrification and how the fest has dominated the city’s nightlife (for worse, according to many), but the fest’s bulldozing force has yet to crush the spirit of the city and the festivalgoers who come to soak it all in. Of course, one of the major standouts from SXSW is its fashion. Whether they’re challenging border culture, rocking Smiths t-shirts, or flaunting fly sneakers, SXSW attendees always manage to flex their style in flashy and creative ways. Here’s a small selection of the looks we saw and loved at this year’s SXSW.
