WHAT HAPPENED?

In the first half of Canada’s Copa America clash with Peru, linesman Humberto Panjoj appeared to have collapsed in direct sunlight on the field.

Les Rogues goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau rushed to his aid, and signaled to medical staff that he needed immediate treatment.

According to The Athletic, the temperature at the time of the incident was 91 degrees, felt like 101 degrees, with a humidity of 51%.
