It looks like actor Chris Evans (Avengers: Endgame) has a new leading lady. Actress Ana de Armas (No Time to Die) has replaced Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) in the upcoming romantic-comedy action flick Ghosted.

The original movie for Apple TV will be directed by Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman) and written by Rhett Reese (Deadpool) and Paul Wernick (Zombieland). The plot of Ghosted is still a mystery, but with de Armas and Evans in the lead roles, things could get very exciting.

The duo shared the screen in the Oscar-nominated 2019 whodunit thriller Knives Out. Before Ghosted hits Apple TV, they will star in filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo’s (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) action thriller The Gray Man in 2022. Set in Europe, the film follows a CIA operative-turned-assassin on a mission to save his daughters.

It’ll be Evans who does some replacing next year when he steps in to voice a new reiteration of the Pixar character Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story franchise. The new animated feature Lightyear is scheduled to hit theaters this coming summer. The original Buzz has been voiced by comedian Tim Allen since the original film debuted in 1995.

Along with The Gray Man next year, Ana de Armas will star in the thriller Deep Water opposite Ben Affleck. The film is from Oscar-nominated director Adrian Lyne (Fatal Attraction). Then, of course, there’s de Armas’ role as actress Marilyn Monroe in the film Blonde. Earlier this year, she described working on the biographical drama as “exhausting.”
