The Love is Blind: México reunion was released August 18th by Netflix, giving fans a definitive answer to the question of whether Love is Blind: México’s Karen and Fernando were still together. And the answer is very much yes on the only couple to get married in the first season of the Mexico version of the popular Netflix reality show.
Love is Blind: México saw Karen Torales and Fernando Hernández form a connection and get engaged without ever seeing each other. The couple then moved in together and had to figure out how to form a family that was not just the two of them, but Karen’s 11-year-old daughter Emi. But together they persevered, and a month later they tied the knot and became the only success story of the season of the show.
In the reunion, we learned Karen and Fernando took the commitment seriously, and not only bought a new apartment together but started a business together too!
“After the wedding, we moved in together. I really love sales and he knows a lot about investment. So, we started a business, and we’ve been doing really well. We were able to buy an apartment and all the things we needed for it. We’re thrilled,” Karen updated fans during the reunion.
The couple also shared that though they aren’t in any hurry to have more children yet, Fernando has spent time bonding with both Emi and Karen’s mother and they look forward to expanding their family sometime in the future.
As for the rest of the Love is Blind: México couples who didn’t get married but were still together at the end of the show, the news is not good. Rene and Irais confirmed they had broken up during the reunion, and so did Chema and Silvia. In fact, the only other couple outside of Karen and Fernando were …Gerardo and Mafer, who reconnected after the experiment and are now dating.
