Who wants to do a little karaoke with Bad Bunny?
On Thursday (March 9), the official Twitter account for The Late Late Show with James Corden revealed that Bad Bunny will be riding shotgun with Corden on the talk show’s recurring Carpool Karaoke segment next Tuesday (March 14).
Carpool Karaoke featured famous musicians (mostly) singing to the radio with Corden as he drives (or is towed) through the streets of Los Angeles.
There were plenty of people excited about him participating in such a popular late-night skit. “Bad Bunny doing Carpool Karaoke?” one Twitter user posted. “My fave segment? Ya not gonna hear from me.”
There were, however, others who commented that joining Corden for Carpool Karaoke was another sign that the Latine community was losing Bad Bunny to Hollywood forces. “Bad Bunny doing Carpool Karaoke … dating Kendall Jenner … yea his career about to be in shambles LMAO.”
If you didn’t already know, a video recently went viral of Bad Bunny and Jenner hugging and kissing after having dinner at a sushi restaurant in West Hollywood.
Other people seemed upset and tweeted that they hoped fans didn’t tune in to watch the segment. “I better not see y’all tune into Bad Bunny’s Carpool Karaoke,” one wrote.
Bad Bunny, of course, isn’t the first Latine artist to join Corden on the segment. Others include Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Christina Aguilera, and Selena Gomez, just to name a few. Fun fact: The very first Carpool Karaoke guest in 2015 was Mariah Carey.
