Bad Bunny will be going to the big screen. The Puerto Rican superstar was newly added to the cast of the upcoming movie American Sole.

According to Deadline, the American Sole cast includes SNL star Pete Davidson, Camila Mendes, rap star Offset, and Straight Outta Compton actor O’Shea Jackson Jr., son of Ice Cube. Bad Bunny will have a supporting role in the movie.

“We’re tremendously excited by the way the cast is coming together and thrilled to have Bad Bunny joining this film,” said Adam Fogelson, chairman of STXfilms Motion Picture Group, in a statement. “As an actor, he’ll provide not only incredible entertainment value but real authenticity to his role.”

Benito will also serve as an executive producer of American Sole. The synopsis features two twenty-somethings (Davidson and Jackson) reselling shoes to combat their mountains of college debt. After the guys seek more funding for their hustle from a shady investor, things go south real quick.

Earlier this month, Bad Bunny was announced to be making his small screen debut in Netflix show Narcos: Mexico. He will be playing the character of gang member Arturo “Kitty” Paez. There’s no word yet on when to expect season three of the series.

On the music side of things, Bad Bunny is up tonight for Album of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards tonight for his top-selling album YHLQMDLG. He’s also nominated for Record of the Year for his emotional hit “Vete.” Benito will be performing as well.
