Machine Gun Kelly’s directorial debut Good Mourning officially has a theatrical release date. And Becky G fans in particular will get a chance to see their fave on the big screen once again in May in what is being billed as a stoner movie with a promising cast of roommates.

The “MAMIII” singer has been on the big screen before and people have been waiting for her return. The entertainer has lent her acting skills and voiceover skills to three films over the years. In 2017, Becky G made her movie debut as Trini in Power Rangers then voiced Chloë in Gnome Alone. She returned to her action roots as Sara Reyes in A-X-L in 2018.

Good Mourning will follow London Ransom, played by Colson Baker (Machine Gun Kelly), as he goes to one of the most important interviews in his life following a break up text. A wild and chaotic series of events leads to the main character having to decide if he is going to try to win back his love or land the role of a lifetime.

“Our goal at Cedar Park Studios is to provide opportunities to fresh, creative voices in the industry and we couldn’t be more excited to be working with first-time filmmakers Colson and Mod,” Cedar Park Studios co-Founder and co-CEO Chris Long said in a statement, according to Movie Web. Bold in their approach, they have assembled a troupe of top-tier talent to join them on this hilarious ride. We’re ecstatic to be a part of their filmmaking debut.”

Good Mourning will be in theaters and on-demand on May 20.
