A new series by award-winning chef Aarón Sánchez is set to debut exclusively on Hulu on April 24. The show, titled Talking Sabor is an eight-episode limited edition program that invites food enthusiasts to talk sabor (flavor) as Sánchez travels to 16 restaurants in four major cities to showcase the best of Latine culture, community, and of course, cuisine.

The series is a collaboration between COCINA, co-founded by Sánchez himself, and Pepsi. Sánchez will lead the show and drive across the country in a car interview-style format, visiting Latine-owned small businesses in Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, and New York. Some of the restaurants include Birria los Socios in LA, Barcenas in Houston, Dr. Limon in Miami, and El Valle Tipico in New York.

In each episode, Chef Aarón will visit two restaurants, get to know the business owners and their stories, taste their signature dishes, and select a favorite from the menu that he will then get to share on camera. When the show premieres, fans will be able to head to these same restaurants and order from the same menus seen on Talking Sabor.

The idea is to celebrate flavor and that special feeling you get when you share great food with friends and family, something as integral to our culture as the dishes Chef Aarón will showcase on the show. He will also be joined by celebrity guests like stand-up comedian Jesus Trejo, Olympic boxer Marlen Esparza, and artist and host Amara la Negra.

“Every plate of food has its own story of passion, grit, and pride. Together with PepsiCo’s Juntos Crecemos platform, we’re shining a light on Latino-owned restaurants, celebrating their hard work, and inspiring a new generation of culinary stars,” Aarón Sánchez told Remezcla. “We’re not just building businesses; we’re creating a lasting legacy of flavor and resilience.”
