Remember Por Fin, the $$$$ Spanish restaurant just off Miracle Mile? The spot known for its Huevos Estrellados – and also for getting probably my favorite review I’ve ever read on Menu Pages (“greatly esquisite“) – has gotten a make-under of sorts. While still under the same ownership, the restaurant is now called “Bulla Gastrobar,” and it has been transformed from a white-linen establishment to a more casual bar-centric bistro.
The new and improved restaurant will be debuting its menu this week, which is split into three sections. The largest section, “tapas y raciones,” features about two dozen dishes with the classics — like patatas bravas — as well as some new creations, including Huevos Bulla, a combination reminiscent of the previous iterations’s hit Huevos Estrellados: homemade potato chips, a fried egg, Serrano ham, potato foam, and truffle oil.
