Lopez vs. Lopez has added to its already impressive list of guest hosts for its debut season. During its May 2 episode, the series will welcome actors Danny Trejo (Machete) and Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) to its lineup.

According to Variety, Fumero will play Natalia, a mother who mistakenly identifies Mayan (Mayan Lopez) as a white woman. Trejo will play Danny Martinez, the owner of a moving company who is also George’s (George Lopez) biggest competition in the market.

The episode, which is titled “Lopez vs Bucket Crabs,” will serve as the 21st episode of the sitcom and the second to the last of its first season. It will also be the second of three episodes that airs on Tuesday night.

Earlier this month, NBC announced that Lopez vs. Lopez would broadcast the final three episodes of the series on a new night and timeslot. NBC is hoping that a Night Court lead-in will increase ratings and help support a possible second season.

Currently, Fumero lends her voice to the Comedy Central animated series Digman!, which stars Fumero’s former Brooklyn Nine-Nine castmate Andy Samberg as the title character. Fumero plays Bella, Digman’s dead wife. She has also started directing more TV shows. Her first was an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine in 2019 and includes other series like Gordita Chronicles and the upcoming series Primo.

This year, Trejo has lent his voice to the Disney Channel’s animated series Big City Greens and the video game Crime Boss: Rockay City.
